Plapparagei (GER/ENG/FRA/ITA)

Green? Red? Parrot? In the new, fast-paced card game from Drei Magier^®There's a lot of chatter going on – and it can get tongues tangled. Players try to get rid of their cards as quickly as possible in this new spring game, without making too many mistakes. But that happens faster than you think. Different animal species and colors sometimes make things difficult for the players, and every wrong statement puts the players further away from winning the game. The winner is the first to play all of their cards.

At “Chatter”The winner is not always the person who has the most to say. Only the right statements bring victory to one of the two to six players. At the beginning, each player receives a deck of cards and places them face down in front of them. In turn, players reveal the top card of their deck and play them one after the other, alternating between them, onto one of the two discard piles. Playing a card always entails a statement and is determined by the two face-up cards. The active player must either name the correct animal or the correct color, call out “Plapparagei,” or sometimes simply repeat what the previous player said. Additional stumbling blocks require even more concentration. If a statement is made incorrectly or if the player hesitates for too long, they must take all the cards from the two discard piles, which is not conducive to winning the game. Only those who manage to get rid of their cards before the other players win “Plapparagei.”
