Counting Colors (GER/ENG)

Mathematics can be so colourful...

The active player stacks the 12 discs face down behind their screen. Then they call out the colours from top to bottom in ascending order so that everyone can hear. So, ‘Red – 1’, ‘Green – 2 ...’. The other players must remember this order.

Now it is the active player's turn to set tasks. Many things are allowed, e.g.:

· Red minus blue = ? (colour)

· Purple + orange = ? (number)

· 4 – 2 = ? (colour)

· If I go down 3 places from yellow, I end up at = ? (colour)

In the basic version, the active player must limit themselves to combinations of two colours or numbers or a number and a colour. They combine these two elements as shown in the examples and then ask for a colour or number. The other players write down their answers on their sheets.
