Whenever a player builds one or more settlements or cities, a camel is deployed at the end of their turn. Settlements and cities that lie on the route of a caravan are worth one more victory point, and roads count double when determining the longest trade route. Each time a camel is deployed, all players vote on where it should be deployed. However, only players donating wool and/or grain are allowed to vote. The more donations, the better, as each donated resource is worth one vote in the vote.
