Game idea
China: The Chinese economy is primarily characterized by a planned economy. In this variant, there are no surprises for players on the power plant market during the first two stages; all power plants are offered for sale in ascending order. Furthermore, the growing demand for raw materials for energy production creates bottlenecks in the raw materials market, so players must plan very carefully to avoid a shortage of raw materials leaving their growing power grid in the dark and forgoing important revenue.

Korea: Due to the country's division, not only is the political situation in Korea very different from the states in the other Funkenschlag maps. Players are confronted with highly diverse geographical challenges, but they also have to diligently purchase resources despite a divided commodity market to prevent their power plants from suddenly ceasing power production due to emerging shortages.
