Before the game begins, the Nice Neighbor is placed diagonally below the candle field.

The Nice Neighbor belongs to everyone, living and dead, and counts like any other piece when calculating movement distance. Any player may move it, but only after their own turn and only one space. The move can be made straight ahead or diagonally.

The Friendly Neighbor can be moved during your turn by the Leader, the Strongman, the Magnet, or the Tempestuous. You can also move him at the end of your turn. He may be placed next to the Unwashed.

You can't get the Nice Neighbor across the finish line.
