Description
A tactical game for two or more players, with the aim of hurling the remains of the former red giant further and further away from the white dwarf.
Components:
10 wooden cylinders (9 red, 1 white)
1 playing field (e.g. sheet of paper or similar)
1 measuring aid (coins, pens, fingers, etc.)
Setup:
The white wooden cylinder is placed in the middle of the playing field. The player who last saw a star begins. The players take turns placing a red cylinder on the playing field at least 1 cm away from the white playing piece.
Procedure:
The next player begins the actual round. They choose a red wooden cylinder and measure its distance from the white dwarf. They must now move another red wooden cylinder further away from the white dwarf by this distance. This does not have to be in a straight line, but the piece must be further away from the white dwarf afterwards.
The players take turns in clockwise order.
End of round/game:
If a player cannot move any of the red cylinders further away from the white dwarf, they are eliminated. They move the white cylinder and five red cylinders as they wish so that the remaining players can start again. As soon as only one player remains, they have won the game.
