Waggon Way (GER/ENG)

A tactical dice game for 3-5 players, in which players try to secretly move their train cars to the front of the train.

The trailers are placed next to each other at the edge of the table. The player tiles are shuffled and placed face down. Each player receives two dice (three dice for 3 players). Gameplay: The players draw one of the player tiles. These now secretly indicate which car belongs to the player. If a player draws the blue player tile, they do not get a turn in this round. The players roll all the dice at the same time. The player with the highest result may now move any trailer. In the event of a tie, all players roll again. The winning player chooses any car and moves it to the first available space. This creates a chain of cars. However, it is also possible to move a car from the middle of the chain forward, creating a gap. Wagons that are behind this gap and are subsequently moved by a player are placed in the gap (in front of the first wagon after the gap, i.e., not at the front of the entire chain!). End of round The round ends when the front wagon reaches the opposite edge of the table (or when no more wagons can fit in front of it) or when a previously set goal has been reached.

The owner of this car is the winner of the round. Players must therefore ensure that their car is as far forward as possible and is not left behind – but not too obviously, because as soon as the others recognize who owns a car, they will avoid it or stop moving it. Points distribution: The winner of the round receives 5 points, the runner-up 3 points, and third place 1 point. End of the game: The game ends as soon as one player reaches 20 points.
