Description
10 to go
What is it about?
Any number of players can compete against each other in this memory game. The aim is to memorise the order of the pieces before they are turned face down.
Contents
· 10 game pieces
. 1 screen
Set-up / Start of the round
One player is the leader for the current round and arranges the pieces in any order. They tell the other players which piece is to be the first (i.e. the direction of play). This can also be a piece in the middle of the row.
The screen is then placed so that the pieces (and therefore their order) can no longer be seen.
Gameplay
The next player in a clockwise direction rolls the dice and must then name the figure located at the position indicated by the roll. Counting starts from the figure designated by the round leader in the specified direction.
The round leader then checks:
- If the figure does NOT match the statement, nothing happens.
- If the figure matches the description, the player receives that figure as a point.
Note: This changes the positions of the figures to be counted; they move forward.
Next, it is the turn of the following player, who must also provide a description based on the number rolled.
The round continues until all the figures have been allocated. The points are recorded before a new round begins with a new round leader.
