Description
Winning title of the 2009 authors' competition (strategic game)
A strategic game about the natural resources in South West Africa by Brian Robson for 3-4 players aged 10 and up
Description:
Namibiais a tactical-strategic game about the mining of ore deposits in German South West Africa during the colonial period for frequent players.
As mining companies, players search for raw materials to sell profitably in the ports. To do this, they must bribe the colonial government to gain access to ports and hinterland to create the necessary transportation infrastructure.
Money buys an increasingly expensive reputation. Too much bribery damages it, while limited access to transportation routes reduces earnings.
It's important to choose the right moment, as the market is influenced by everyone. The winner is the one who makes money while keeping an eye on their reputation.
Namibia is a complex game in which you have to find the right balance between expensive advantages and the associated disadvantages. To do this, you have to keep an eye on various developments on the board: sometimes it's better to wait a bit, sometimes you have to invest and act.
