Dice acrobat

What is it about?
The "Arithmetic Acrobat Fraction" is about who can present the best solution using calculation methods after rolling the dice.

The players choose any die as the solution die. Using the other dice, they try to get as close as possible to the value of the result die using the four basic arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication (plus, minus, times, divided).

Important: Everyone can choose any solution cube (or different ones).

It is also permitted to use imaginary parentheses (keyword: division and multiplication before addition and subtraction).

How does it work?
The dice are removed from the box. Everyone agrees on a time limit. One player rolls all the dice simultaneously. The dice remain where they fell—and everyone keeps their fingers where they are. All players now search for possible calculations as described above. After the time is up, each player presents their solution. The player whose calculation result is closest to their solution die receives a point (chip). This can be multiple players.


Example

Solution dice = 3/4; other dice =1/2 1/2 1/8 1/6

Calculation method: 1/2 : 1/2 = 1 * 1/8 : 1/6 = 6/8 reduced by 2 = 3/4, in this case exactly the result of the solution cube is achieved.
