The active player rolls all the dice. They may re-roll up to twice. The symbols mean the following:

At the end of the game, the player with the most thunderstorms receives 5 penalty points, the next player receives 3 penalty points, and the best player receives 1 penalty point. Only players who have no thunderstorms receive no penalty points.

Snow (1x): Who wants to camp in the freezing cold? A square is entered in the corresponding row on the score pad. At the end of the game, the totals of the snow values are compared. The difference to the best is noted as minus points for each player.

Sun (1x): A sun is recorded in the scoring block for the player (a circle). They may use this at any time, either to re-roll one of their own dice or – when it is another player's turn – to force them to re-roll a die – this can be any die on the table (apart from the rules mentioned above). If the sun is used, it is crossed out on the score pad.
Special case: If all dice show no symbol, all light clouds or all dark clouds, the player receives 5 bonus points. The above rules do not apply in this case. Only players who roll 3 mosquitoes are bitten 3 times.
