Downhill (GER/ENG)

Two or three brave skiers race down the slope, collecting checkpoints along the way while still trying to reach the finish line quickly.

The players roll the white dice simultaneously. The skiers are moved forward according to the number rolled. Each player can decide to repeat their roll. To do so, they turn the grey dice back to the next lowest number. Each player can therefore repeat their roll six times during the game.

From the second round onwards, the skiers are moved in the order in which they are standing. If a player reaches a square with a pole, they take it. The game is repeated until one skier reaches the finish line (end of the course).

The players then receive points:

• Winner of the race 3 points
• Runner-up 2 points
• Third place 1 point

As well as for:

• Each pole passed correctly 1 point
(green)
• Each pole passed incorrectly -1 point
(white)

And according to the unused re-rolls (i.e. the number of
grey dice):

• Highest number on grey dice 3 points
• Second highest number 2 points
• Third highest number 1 point

The athlete with the most points is the winner.
