Carthage - founded by the Phoenicians as a trading post around 800 BC, the city quickly developed into a commercial center where precious goods from the entire ancient world were traded.

The players represent traders who want to increase their wealth and influence and improve their position in the merchant guild.

Within 3 decades of 5 rounds each, players attempt to become the most glorious merchant in Carthage by loading goods, financing warships, and cleverly influencing the merchant guild.

Whoever has the most victory points at the end wins the game.
