Lizard Master

A game for up to 4 players, in which the aim is to use your Lizard Master to position your lizards optimally on the board.

Contents:

4 Lizard Masters (in 4 colours)
60 lizards (15 of each of 4 colours)
6 dice (small)
1 large die
7 game boards

Set-up:

Arrange the game boards in the centre of the table so that the village is in the middle and the other boards are placed around it, with one die (showing any number) placed on each of them. Place the Lizard Masters on the village. Each player receives the lizards of their colour. The starting player is the one who last saw a lizard.

Gameplay:

The game consists of two phases.

PHASE 1
The active player now moves their playing piece one space onto an adjacent one. They then roll the dice, and the result is checked:· > the number shown: The player may place as many lizards on the square as the difference between the numbers· = the number shown: Nothing happens· < the number shown: The die is rolled again and placed back in the same spot. The phase ends when the first player has placed all their lizards.

PHASE 2
Now it’s time for the lizards to battle it out. The small dice are collected and set aside.In turn, the landscape tiles are resolved by each player rolling as many small dice as they have lizards. By the end, all landscapes have been allocated to the players. Points are awarded as follows:

· Gold: 2 points
· All others: 1 point
· Forest and Field: 1 extra point
· Desert, Quarry, Cave (all beige): 2 extra points

The winner is the player who has scored the highest number of points.
